このドキュメント全体を通して、SvelteKit がその上に構築している標準的な Web API への言及が見られます。車輪の再発明をするのではなく、私たちはプラットフォームを利用します。つまり、既存の Web 開発スキルが SvelteKit に適用できるということです。逆に、SvelteKit の学習に費やす時間は、他の場所でより優れた Web 開発者になるのに役立ちます。
これらの API は、すべての最新ブラウザと、Cloudflare Workers、Deno、Vercel Functions など、多くのブラウザ以外の環境で利用できます。開発中、および Node ベースの環境 (AWS Lambda を含む) 用の アダプター では、必要に応じてポリフィルを介して利用できるようになります (今のところ、Node は Web 標準のサポートを急速に追加しています)。

Fetch API
SvelteKit はネットワークからデータを取得するために fetch を使用します。これは、フックとサーバー ルート、およびブラウザで利用できます。
fetchの特別なバージョンは、load関数、サーバーフック、およびAPI ルートで利用でき、資格情報を保持しながら、HTTP 呼び出しを行わずにサーバー側のレンダリング中にエンドポイントを直接呼び出すことができます。(loadの外部のサーバー側コードで資格情報付きのフェッチを行うには、cookieおよび/またはauthorizationヘッダーを明示的に渡す必要があります。) また、サーバー側のfetchは通常完全修飾 URL を必要とするのに対し、相対リクエストを作成することもできます。

Request
Request のインスタンスは、フックおよびサーバー ルートで event.request としてアクセスできます。これには、エンドポイントにポストされたデータを取得するための request.json() や request.formData() などの便利なメソッドが含まれています。
Response
Response のインスタンスは、await fetch(...) と +server.js ファイルのハンドラーから返されます。基本的に、SvelteKit アプリは Request を Response に変換するマシンです。
Headers
Headers インターフェイスを使用すると、受信した request.headers を読み取り、送信する response.headers を設定できます。たとえば、以下に示すように request.headers を取得し、json 簡易関数を使用して、変更された response.headers を送信できます。

ほとんどの場合、エンドポイントは上記の userAgent の例のように完全なデータを返します。場合によっては、一度にメモリに収まりきれないほど大きな応答を返す必要がある場合や、チャンクで配信される応答を返す必要がある場合があります。このために、プラットフォームは ストリーム (ReadableStream、WritableStream、およびTransformStream) を提供します。
URL API
URL は、origin や pathname (およびブラウザでは hash) などの便利なプロパティを含む URL インターフェイスによって表されます。このインターフェイスは、フックおよびサーバー ルートの event.url、$page.url ( ページ)、beforeNavigate および afterNavigate の from および to など、さまざまな場所で表示されます。
URLSearchParams
URL が出現する場所では常に、URLSearchParams のインスタンスである url.searchParams を使用してクエリパラメーターにアクセスできます。
